Envest Group-owned subsidiary Resilium Partners has acquired JV Business Insurance in Canberra.

JV Business was formerly a corporate authorised representative (AR) of Insurance Advisernet and has been led by Shelby Rainey since he founded the business in 2009.

Mr Rainey will continue to lead the business as Practice Principal, as part of the new partnership with Envest.

Envest Chief Distribution Manager & Head of Broking Craig Robson says the group is “thrilled to welcome JV Business Insurance as an equity partner”.

“We look forward to working with Shelby and the team on further accelerating the growth of the business, both through acquisition and organically,” he said.

Resilium MD Ben Hastie says JV Business Insurance has commercial clients all over Australia and has experienced fantastic growth in recent years.

“We are so pleased to be working with Shelby and the team, cementing our footprint in the ACT.”

JV Business Insurance services include ACT Workers’ Compensation, business insurance, professional indemnity and tailored insurance programs, according to its website.
